A Few Views Along My Run in the Lake Russell WMA

I went on a long run in the Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area (WMA) today. The run itself was just ok. My legs were tired and my right achilles was a bit achy. It’s time to take it easy for a week to rest and recover.

While the run was only ok, the views were fantastic. Here are a few of my favorite pictures taken during my run today.

The featured photo wins best of the day. I took that photo as I was about 3 miles from finishing up my run. In the distance you can see Currahee Mountain and if you look closely you might be able to tell that the sunlight was still hitting the summit while all the land around the mountain was already in the shadow.
